Responsibilities:

• Develop molecular biology techniques including new multi-fragment plasmid assembly technologies

• Implement multiplexed gene editing strategies for cell-based therapies and allogeneic products

• Engineer mammalian cells especially immune cells such as T cells, and stem cells such as HSC and iPSCs with genome editing tools such as CRISPR/Cas and perform downstream molecular and cellular analysis including next generation sequencing (NGS)

• Culture mammalian primary cells and cells lines, and introduce plasmid DNA, mRNA, gRNA and Cas9 RNP by appropriate methods, including cationic lipid-based transfection and electroporation

• Conduct research involving standard molecular biology techniques including DNA extraction and analysis, qPCR, and various plate-based assays

• Apply basic biochemical and immunological techniques, including protein extraction, protein gel electrophoresis, conventional and capillary western blotting, ELISA, cytokine assays and flow cytometry

• Lead a group of scientists and work across other platform technology and therapeutic groups to achieve desired goals

任职资格：

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirement:

• PhD in immunology, cell biology, oncology or related fields and at least 4 years of work experience, preferably in a Biotech/Pharmaceutical/CRO setting. PhD with highly relevant postdoctoral experience will also be considered.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

• Detailed knowledge of cellular immunology principles, technologies, and experimental techniques (cell culture, in vitro cellular assays, flow cytometry, and other standard molecular and cell biology techniques)

• Strong knowledge in the field of gene editing and gene therapy.

• Proficiency with mammalian cell culture techniques including maintenance of cell lines, transfection, cell counting, and standard cellular assays

• Experience with flow cytometry and cell sorting for mammalian cells is desirable

• Experience with lentiviral production and transduction

• Working knowledge of molecular and cellular research techniques, including RNA/DNA extraction, PCR, ddPCR, qPCR, western blotting and ELISA

• Working knowledge of, and direct experience with, CRISPR/Cas gene editing in primary mammalian cells

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and effectively work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong capability in designing and planning experiments and to meet project goals and timelines.

• Strong leadership skills to guide team member to perform their responsibilities.
